Kids socks

I need to buy boys socks in size 2, so 12-3.5, have been buying them from two national shop chains and both packs have disintergrated within a month at the hemmed top, due to cheap materials and stitching change, probably to keep costs down as the price of cotton has risen.
If anyone knows of good socks with a secure hem at the top I would be very grateful as I am fed up of throwing socks away. Thank you. I don't care what colour they are.

i have bought socks from Primark in the past and found them to be good quality for the money.
I used to buy my sons socks from Marks when he was little, they were always well made but dont know what they are like these days0
