Flexible New Deal

I going through the flexible new deal process but I'm not entirely sure ho it works.
I know the provider receives approx £900 per customer and more if the customer find long term employment.
What I would like to know is this... What is the £900 for exactly? Is it to get me trained up etc or is it for a wage pot for the providers?
I found a course I would really like to do, and will certainly help in what I want to do, it will cost about £500.
I asked a lady working for the provider if they could provide financial support for the course and the lady (in all her wisdom) said she had been advising customers get a job and save up to pay for courses.
She seemed pretty genuine when she said that so I smiled, thanked her and left.
Do any of you guys know what the £900 is for? Can it be used to pay for courses?
Thanks

Haven't got a clue what it's for at a guess I think it maybe for the employment of their advisors. I think you'll get the same response I have many a time when I was on FND and later the WP, there are no funds for any kind of training.0

Thanks for the response, it's almost like you're stuck in a loop, all the subsidised courses are too low level too (in my area of interest).
Thanks again for the reply.0 -
The payments are fees for the providers service, and the amount they receive varies according to the needs and complexities of the person referred, and success in that person finding and retiaing work. It isn't a pot for "you". I can't remember the exact details but I googled after reading some stuff on another thread, and there is a table of waht the payments are made up of somewhere - just can't recall where!0

Okay, thanks for clarifying that for me, now I know where I stand with that.
Take care.0
