It can be used so all is not lost but...it is used for more heavy duty jobs around the house and can kill weeds in the garden...just do a search asking whether you can clean using pickled vinegar."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. You're welcome and I'm glad the vinegar isn't totally wasted..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Check the ingredients list. Some stuff labelled as pickling vinegar is just vinegar. Some has spices added.
If it's just vinegar, then it can be used with Stardrops and for pickling. If it's ready-spiced, then look out for some price reduced eggs. Old eggs are actually better than fresh ones for hard-boiling and pickling. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
its the vinegar with spices.
i've mixed ip some with stardrops and water,it seems fine, though the smell of vinegar is lingering longer than usual.

it can still be used for some tasks - I keep what was left of last years pickling vinegar in the utility room - it will still clean the washing machine and a bit added to the mop bucket still cleans the floor - I dont realy mind the slightly spicy smell!0
