Successful PPI claim against Lloyds

Hi,

Just to inform everyone that i sent two letters re two seperate loans which i settled early back in 2004 and 2005 asking for my PPI premium back as i was self employed now as i was then.

I handed this letter in 16/3/07 at my local branch to a very kind lady who had been getting me copies of my old agreements for me. Today 21/3/07 Lloyds customer care team called offering the amounts i was owed after the refund `d already received when settling loan early. I questioned what about my interest and she rang me back ten mins later with full amount inc interest.

And that was that, no arguing, no saying "prove you were self employed" etc..

It appears they are a lot easier to deal with re PPI than they are credit card charges.

I sent a letter which i found on "This Is Money" website.

hth someone.
