I useually stock up on washing powder when a good offer comes along, and sometimes i dont need to buy washing powder for months, even a year sometimes, but over the last few months i have been off the boil, so to speak and now i am down to my last half box of powder:eek:
so i was wondering if anyone knows of any good deals on washing powder at the moment, I normally buy big boxes..
I know some people buy the crushed washing tablets on fleabay at a bargin price, but you hear of so many fake products being sold on fleabay, i dont know if i was being sold a fake or the genuine stuff

Do you live near a poundstretcher store? They have some good offers on large boxes of washing powder at the minute. I just bought a 100 wash box of Surf lemon and mandarin flavoured powder from our local one for £9.99 and they had big boxes of Bold, Daz, Persil and Fairy as well. Think the Bold and Daz were 85 washes for £12.99 and the Persil 90 washes for £15.99. The Fairy was £15.99 as well if I remember rightly. Mind you I think the box of Surf I've bought has been imported from Spain as all the writing on it is in Spanish lol!!!!!loobylou2.Proud to be dealing with my debts and aiming to sort out the mess in 2013!!!!:eek:0

I know a lot of people use this seller for washing powders etc. I've just bought the bucket of dishwasher tablets from them and they're fab!

Tesco have Ariel liquitabs for £1.84 (11 washes) and there's a £1 coupon (2 per pc) from Supersavvyme for £1 - so 84p for 11 washes.
LINK (showing as OOS).
I panicked the other day as I had loads and loads, but gave 6 months supply to Son and girlfriend and some to MIL - still got over 120 washes left, but can't believe how it's gone down.
Fabric conditioner is another story ............................ can't give that away. lol
Hope some decent offers come along soon in combination with coupons.

That Daz is expensive, I went into tesco's last week and bought the 38wash for a £4, which means for £12 i get 114 washes + a 99p saving aswell. bought 8 boxes.
Personally dont use it anymore bought it for my brother.
We now use that £2.99 Aldi 30 washing powder, when the 100 wash box comes in will be buying that.0 -
Zaleska3, thank you for the link. I have ordered some 5 ltr containers of liquid detergent. I'm currently using Almat £2.19 from Aldi and this works out at 1/2 the price per wash.0

A new store has recently opened near me called `Family Bargains`. I believe it is related to `Home Bargains` as some of their stickers were spotted on some of the products. Whilst there we saw some big boxes of powder with about 100 washes quoted. Cant remember the name of it as we didn`t actually buy any--my stock is still too high---but seemed to think it was Portugese. We worked out it was about 3p per wash!!0
