I can find no reference to either the North Western Railway or the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway in the Olympic Torch reports. Therefore I must agree with weeowens that the answer is: West Somerset Railway and Ffestiniog Railway0

They must have made some sort of mistake..
All I can find about the WSR is nearby towns it visited. I went with you guys.0 -
This article mentions all the heritage railways the torch has or will visit, and I have checked separately as well:
http://railwayherald.com/preservation/olympic_torch_tours_heritage_railways
It did NOT visit the West Somerset Railway, nor the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, and there is no such thing as the North Western Railway - the closest is the London & North Western Railway site at Crewe which it also did not visit.
It did visit the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, the Ffestiniog & the Snowdon Mountain Railway.0 -
It DID visit the West Somerset Railway, here is a link that proves it,

The torch relay went through the village of Washford on the A39 and will have passed close to the WSR station there. It did not go through Washford in order to visit the railway, and was never on railway property. Although it may not be a true "visit" to the railway, it is certainly closer than the other options.0 -
Sorry
This competition could not be found. Sorry!'What's poignancy grandad?'

The options have now changed to:
Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and Ivor T Engine Railway
West Somerset Railway and Ffestiniog Railway
Snowy Hill Railway and North Western Railway
So definitely go with West Somerset Railway and Ffestiniog Railway0
