Employer not paying wages

Working in a call centre. Incredibly stressful work place. Wages are half what they should be. Not sure what to do.
Already draughted a letter but not sure who to. So angry, and so screwed. My one source of income can't be bothered paying me. My landlord is already turning up giving me 'warnings' that he needs his rent, but I can't pay it when my job doesn't pay me what I'm owed.
I'm so sorry for ranting, but I'm so angry. I work the hours, I expect the money for it. Not sure how much an angry letter will do. I've draughted a letter with the missing money, but I can see it being ignored and I reckon official channels will take months to review the case, by which time I will be in a bedsit somewhere or a friend's living room.
I feel a bit helpless.
There aren't a load of jobs going. I'd be out of there in a shot if there were, but as it goes, I have maintenance, rent, food and being a human to pay for. I have bills that get paid as best they can, but when your main wage refuses to come though, what do you do? I'm not sure where I can cut back.
Any help very welcome. Thanks

Have you spoken to your manager - it could be a very simple error that can be easily rectified?0

There is an employment section on the forum where very experienced HR people give advice. You might be better posting there to get the benefit of their specialist knowledge. Good luck.0
