What to stuff dog beds with?

Looking to make some for friends dogs for Christmas (trying to get a head start lol)

Not really sure what to stuff them with? Looking to make a cushion, then a fitted cover. I do have some thin wadding that I bought to make a patchwork quilt with, could I shred that up into chunks?
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Hi, I'm not sure about the quilting but you could get the mega cheap pillows from asda (smart price) which I've used before for making cushions, hanging hearts and sock monkeys. You can also buy bean bag fillers but not sure if that would work out too expensive.

I use old hollowfibre duvets - someone somewhere is always getting rid of one around here, (or I find them in charity shops) mainly because they're cheaper to replace than get cleaned (as a double doesn't fit in most washing machines).
However, once I've chopped it into a manageable, dog bed sized chunk, it goes in the washer just fine :) and then I make the cover to fit. HTH

I cut to shape a memory foam pillow for my elderly dogs bed that I got second hand. The next dog loves it now, as does the cat!
