Graham White Solicitors/Roxburghe Debt Collectors

Hi - I just want to briefly explain my story and then I'd be grateful of any advice or tips etc.
Back in May 2009 I pulled into a Staples car park to pick up my daughter from school (it's half way home and she was already waiting), I pulled in, she got in the car and I drove out (took me approximately 10 seconds). Didn't think anything more of it!
5 MONTHS LATER in October 2009 I received a Parking Charge Notice from A S Securi-T saying I was illegally and unauthorised parked! I rang them initially to say I wasn't exactly parked, did not turn off my engine, did not have a PCN given to me or put on the car and enquired why it took 5 months for them to contact me. I was told it was because of a DVLA back long but after enquiring with DVLA themselves and them sending me supporting paperwork, they only asked for the information in September, a month before they contacted me!
Anyway, we ignored the letter and thought they had gone away....however.....3 YEARS ON in April 2012 we have been contacted by VP Parking Solutions chasing payment and now Graham White Solicitors and Roxburght Debt Collectors are hassling us with phone calls and letters (none of which are sent requiring a signature).
Even if they have a photo of me in the car park, what does that actually prove? And if they have a photo with me in it (as I never left my car) is that legal, and what about the implications of them taking photo's with school children about i.e my daughter!
My husband is prepared to take this all the way and just ignore, ignore, ignore. I must admit though, it is very intimidating as we've never had to deal with anything like this with bullies chasing us for money!
I cannot believe that being in a car park for all of 10 seconds, not having left my car or turned my engine off constitutes as illegal parking - it's appalling that they can even do this.
Any thoughts anyone - thanks

Yes - Why didn't you post this in the parking forum?
You can stop worrying and ignore these jokers. Similarly, don't bother about any photos as they have no evidential value in the context of private parking.
Have a look at the forum sticky in the Parking Board to see the scam letters they will send you and a quick search in the forum will turn-up many, many threads about these jokers!0
