EXPIRED Mathsfactor summer school 1/2 price

Carol Voderman's Mathsfactor website has a summer school which is an online course which runs until September 30th 2012. It is normally £14.99 for the course but there's a flash sale today and it's half price. You need a discount code which is generated by putting your details into the home page.

I've used the times tables course which was really good so have paid for this one.

Oops forgot that this is a flash sale so only open until midnight tonight.

Thank you I looked at this course last year, is it good? Is it better than the free websites such as BBC bitesize?
  • Brilliant, thanks for this, I've been looking at getting one of these, but was put off by the price, can't wait to show my 6 year old, she loves maths and it will keep her busy during the summer!!

Great, we had parents evening last week and the teacher handed me a maths book and told me to get some to bring my daughters maths up to standard over summer. I have just bought this course and will invest in maths resource books as well. Just hope it is as good as it looks.

was anyone else surprised and a little disappointed when they discovered that her website was not free? she was championed as a maths Czar and I got the impression she was doing it as a thank you to the opportunities she had gained by being so brilliant at maths and to help kids in the UK improve their maths skills. I was also very disappointed when I saw her doing adverts for loans with high APRs - I'm sure people would have tught Carol's good with maths cos she's on Countdown so if she's endorsing the loan it must be good value

I haven't had a chance to look at this course because I only bought it using the offer today but we did find the times tables one very good and my 7 and 5 year olds now know their times tables. Carol uses lots of ideas to prompt the memory. I have been impressed. The downside is that I don't think the system really reacts to the children's scores but it hasn't been a problem for us.

Thank you, this is great. I've been meaning to give this a go but was reluctant to pay the full amount.
