Hi
We are going over to Larne next week ti collect a car we have bought- now in booking the ferry we would be foot passengers on the outward journey and obvioulsy with car coming home.
Trying to book this as a return on the P&O site is impossible as you have to either be foot passenges both ways or have a car both ways. In looking at the prices it is strangely massively cheaper to have a vehicle on both trips than it is to be foot passengers out and car back.
Now wanting to save money we are considering making the booking including a car both ways and then turning up at the terminal without car on the outward journey.
Does anyone know what is likely to happen or done this before i.e will we be charged an admin for changing the booking? Do you think they will just let us walk on as our car has "broken down"?
