any help would be appreiceated please.I had an endowment with halfiax plc which they informed me approx 2 years ago was in danger of falling short by at least 25k,the total sum of the endowment was 54k.During this period i had a few family bereavements and therefore did not contact the financial ombudsman to complain until approx 9 months later and was duly informed by them that halfiax had told them that they objected to the ombudsman investigating my complaint as it was outside the 6 month time frame to complain.I have now had to cash in the endowment for what it was worth and go to a repayment mortgage.I am now contemplating taking the halifax to the small claims court and make a claim for the finacial hardship i have experienced.Has anyone tried this avenue before and could anyone adivise me of the chances of being successfull.Any advice would be greatly appreicated.
