Poundland? I bought packs of 8 heart shaped Hello Kitty Plates and packs of 10 cups, they had decorated stuff for boys there too.
Also found plenty of (decent) unisex party bag fillers. Steer clear of the balloons though - they're tiny!
    also:

There's packs of 8 cups or plates at £1.50 here, also napkins and other bits similarly priced. There's a delivery charge, but a 10% discount is available for a first (credit) order. You can also pay in full on ordering (no credit, personally I hate the word..!)
Their balloons are well priced too, and a 'Very' treat (free lipstick) can be added.

Woolworths is owned by Home Shopping Group, same at Littlewoods and Very...... so same stuff available as above.

I always get plain cheapy value plates and pretty napkins then stack them by the food napkin on top of each plate, that way people just see the decorative napkin and dont pay attention to the plate as its covered in food quickly anyway!

  • You could always buy plain ones and decorate the cups yourself?(The plates might be a bit messy).

The napkins are a good idea.

As the others have said, the plates will be covered with food and then thrown away so it's not worth paying a fortune.
