Used mine at tesco last night at 2am, didnt expect them to accept it as i have used the printed off internet vouchers at that check out lady refused them all... even i explained what the headoffice email said (accept internet vouchers and did not have to buy the product). NON-NEGOCIABLE NO...

ok, fair enough... nothing i can do, took them back and hand them the Tesco voucher, she saw the little tesco logo on it and just scanned it. beep... accepted, £5 off the shopping, what a results! even i did not buy and cosmestic/beer.

I got one of these one morning in the Tesco Cafe. I went to Customer Services and they knew nothing about it, so said to just send it off. To cut a long story short I rang Clubcard several times and my local store and it seems that these vouchers came out by mistake, but they had decided they were going to honour them, so to send the voucher off (couldn't say what the gift was). Sent a letter with the voucher, then 2 days later found the voucher in the kitchen, whoops forgot to enclose it. Rang Clubcard and they said to just resend it, which I did, informing them that I had sent the first claim without the voucher. A couple of weeks later I got a £5 voucher and then a couple of days later another. So I got £10.

Nice to know that I don't need to buy the beer etc and can use it again other items.

I dont think it was anything to do with how many coupons you use,as I use loads and I stll got one.

Thanks for tip about being able to use it on anything worked fine today on the weekend meat.

Used a couple of other vouchers that the till had given to me for 100 extra points as well and the self scan tills in the store I used were giving double points as well, not on the extra 200 vouchers but got 30 instead of 15 plus me 200 and £5 off and used £5.20 of coupons on a £15 quid shop.

I've never seen that before, was there a sign on the self-scan tills to say that they are giving double points? Wonder if it's nationwide...

And also, do you get the extra vouchers from the self-service tills (the petrol ones and the ones discussed in this thread)?

(A million questions for you, Angela, seeing that you're the Tesco guru ;) )

I have never seen it before either they are obviously trying to promote it at that particular store (perhaps they are not used enough).

It was on the display screen on the self scan till.

I visited another store with self scan and it was not on that till.

I dont think I do get the extra vouchers at the self scan not really sure,I did check the voucher before using and it didnt say what store I got it at so not sure really...............sorry.
