Equita help

Hi,
I received a letter from equita a couple of weeks ago sayings have a warrant of execution by the traffic enforcenment centre at Northampton county court (I didn't know anything about this as I have moved house, although my partner new about the two fines he didn't do anything about them nor told). Although dated two weeks after, about two days after the first letter I received a second letter saying removal notice. I contacted them, and offered to pay £10 a week as I am on maternity and only earn £134 a week, my partner earns enough to pay the bills with no spare. When u contacted them I spoke to Rita who said I needed to make a min payment of £82.62 a month (just over £20 a week), she said they couldn't take any less. I really can't afford that amount because it would mean I wouldnt be able to buy things for my 4 month old. I do earn tax credits but it's still only enough to cover our bills and food, nappies, clothes, wet wipes etc for our baby and us. I stupidly agreed but now regret it because we can't afford it. My partner reckons that I should call again and offer my original amount and say I can pay no more. But now I made the agreement over the phone do I have to go ahead and pay it. Or should I just pay what I can afford online. I'm afraid if I just ignore it the charges will go up and I'll be forever paying off this debt.
Please help.

Never ignore.
Pay what you can, if you can't pay the agreed amount then you can't can you!
You should write and inform them of what you can afford and why, you must give them a breakdown to show why you cannot afford more.
I don't know a great amount about this area, but I do know about Parking and Local Government. I'd suggest that your OH never lets this happen again and dont share your car!, we all know full well how many letters get sent out to warn you of this action.
Maybe now that I have bumped your post someone that deals with County Court Debt may help you. I'd also be careful if you own the vehicle that was issued with the PCN or INP, it may get lifted I guess?0
