Wescot harassing me

Wescot have been texting me and voicemailing me every day now for over a week. I know I have no debt. They obviously don't have my address as I haven't received a letter and I have lived here for 10 years.
I have emailed them to complain and ask them to stop contacting me to no avail
I have heard that you can be charged for listening to their messages/reading their texts
I am sending a recorded delivery letter to them today asking them to stop or I will report them to the Financial Ombudsmen (I obviously haven't put my address on the letter)
I do have quite a common name so wonder if they are just trying it on and the debt actually belongs to someone with the same name
What more can I do?

First things first if you don't even know if the debt is yours then send them a Prove It letter! Ask them to tell you what the debt is and why they think it belongs to you.0

Either old debt. Or a 'mis-trace' on someone with the same name.
Both are common.
Either way, Wescot can take a walk.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

fos does not cover dcasDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Worth putting in a complaint with the Credit Services Association, I had something similar with Wescot (mistrace) and ended up with a cheque for £50 and a bunch of flowers'' Ok Marge, if anyone asks, you require 24-hour nursing care; Lisa's a clergyman; Maggie is seven people and Bart was wounded in Vietnam ''0

For many aspects of regulated debts, they do.
