The free 2 month card was attached to a letter that has your code on.

don't worry if you've thrown away the letter accompanying your Daily Mail free 2-month railcard (I did too, by mistake). I emailed them earlier this week and apparently they will contact everyone who applied for the free card by email from today to remind them of their personal code to get the half price railcard for a year.

Will it renew from the date this one expires, does anyone know, or is it better to wait? (Mine's valid until 2nd August so don't want to lose those few weeks...)
