6 months ago a company called I money working with Real Time Claims, telephoned us out of the blue to say they had the paperwork for a loan we had taken out about 4 years ago, and that they could claim back for us the PPI, I told the guy from I money I dident think there was any thing to claim back, He said there was but it was hidden in the small print, he asked for £250 which we paid by visa card after he promised us it was fully returnable if the claim failed, the bank wrote back saying there was no PPI on the loan, I sent a copy of the letter to I money and Real Time Claims and for the past 3 months they just say its on its way to us but no refund arrives, I am a pensinor and this has put me in a overdraft situation which is getting worse month by month, the last thing they told me the boss works from home and they never see him, and all they have is a email address when they need to get in touch with him, they wont give the address to me, What can I do.
I have been fighting Cancer for the past 2 years, and this is putting even more stress onto us. Please can any one help us.

Contact the company and tell them if you don't receive the refund within 14 days you will be making a complaint to the MOJ.

Contact your Credit card company and tell them this was a claims co that took the upfront fee and ask them if they can put this back onto the card, As it was 6 months ago they may not be able to do this, if they do then you want the interest taken off the card that this amount accrued.
Let me know how you get on.0 -
I suggest you send the following complaint to

FORMAL COMPLAINT OF MISSELLING AND FRAUD AGAINST REAL TIME CLAIMS LIMITED
In or around January 2012 I received an unsolicited telephone call from your company.
Your employee said your company held personal data on a loan I had taken out in or around 2007.
It has now been explained to me by a professional compliance consultant that your employee could not possibly have held that information. He therefore lied to me in order to secure a gain for your company and thus committed fraud against me.
Your employee committed further fraud by claiming that Payment Protection Insurance was included in "the small print" of my loan. He could not possibly have known that because he did not have details of my loan at all.
My bank has now confirmed that Real Times Claims Limited lied to me and I did not have payment protection on my loan at all.
I further complain that your company collected £250 from my bank account without first providing me with full written details of the contract I was entering into - in breach of the Conduct of Authorised Persons Rules 2007.
Further, he assured me that the payment would be refunded in full if the claim failed but, despite it being quite clear that no Payment Protection Assurance ever existed, you have persistently failed to refund my money.
I put it to you that Real Time Claims Limited has deliberately defrauded me, that it is not fit and proper to carry out claims management activities and that you are not fit and proper to act as a director of any business, let alone a claims management business.
I demand an immediate refund of my £250 and of all interest charges accrued on my credit card as a result of your fraud.
A copy of this e-mail has been forwarded to your regulator, the Ministry of Justice, and your Trading Standards Office.

Hi Magpie Cottage
Thank you so much for your excellent letter, it was I Money that took the £250 from my account and then handed my case onto Real Time Claims, so should I send the letter to I Money and copy in Real Time Claims. I have been trying to telephone both companies over the last couple of days, the phones ring but no one answers just a message that the system can`t take a message as it is full up.
Thank you again for all your help

E-mail is good.
Also fax (you get proof of posting).
However, you can also send it - just get proof of posting (free from the Post Office).
Was the visa card the money was taken from a credit or debit card?0 -
Hi Magpie cottage
It was paid on a visa debit, I went into the bank today and they gave me the forms to fill in.
Cheers
