this was unusual in America - but a way of life for British housewives. and we didnt have 'coupons' for money off. Well done to this American lady though. But, I wonder how she would have coped with rationing? Americans had no idea how hard rationing was - until thier forces had a 'culture' shock when they were stationed here.0
