Movie posters?

I used to work in a cinema and we always had loads of people asking for the posters. The staff used to take names and phone numbers and "promised" to call the person back but most of the time the numbers would get lost/forgotten about. A better way of doing it is to go in on a Thursday night (normally about 9pm just after the last film goes in) when they are changing over the posters and ask then. As long as it's not already been requested by a staff member or the studio needs it back (happens a lot for small independent films) then they can just give it to you (ask for a poster tube to take it home in). If you can't make it on a Thursday night go in and speak to the marketing manager who will know what posters are available and can sort you out!!

i used to work in a cinema. there was a race betwene the staff who got the posters first!
We always had requests for posters but we said either no because they have to be sent back to the promoters or 'yes' we'll get back to you and just forgot...

Failing this, look in their bins! Trampy i know but i got 3 massive Titanic posters when the film came out. Probably worth a few bob now.

Thats actually a good point! they are so big they odnt fit in the bags so go straight into the bin, so you dont even have to go digging

Watch out for Squirrels though! We used to have them jump out at us all the time - little blighters go mad for the popcorn!
