I don't think it does but I tend to use vosene shampoo at least once a week which is medicated and was described by a friend of mine as 'paint stripper' (she has dyed blonde hair) which would prevent build up of residue.

    Paint stripper LOL :rotfl:

The frizz ease serum is great, as is their 'straightening potion' although i do have thick hair which is more likely to be greasy than dry.

Can you use them in wet hair?!

Mine aren't ghds but they are the only non GHD pair that has ever worked for me. I just haven't got £100 for them!

Noooo I more meant like proper blow drying and not just a quick dry with the hair dryer, like sectioning, and using a vented brush. Hope that makes sense :o

Ive never found a residue left and I wash my hair every 4 or 7 days depending on outside factors.

Really, she did say that, when she borrowed it after swimming. I quote:

'oh my god this stuff isn't shampoo, it's like paint stripper, my hair feels like straw'

It always does wonders for my hair though!

As Gillyx says, you need to blow dry it properly first. I never do mine properly in the morning, then GHD it, then it's frizzy/wavy by the time I've rushed to the station. If you blow dry it so it's all nice and 'swishy' first, GHDs are great.

Towel dry first. Then roughly dry it all over, then blow dry it properly with a good brush (in sections). Don't try styling it/drying it when it's still very wet.

Once completely dry, and while still warm, use GHDs.

Of course all this is fine in a perfect world - I usually end up with 4 mins to dry/straighten mine!
