Fixed Mortage Ending Question

Hello All,

My fixed mortgage ends on 31st December this year.

Does anyone know when the earliest is I can begin the process of sorting out my next fixed period - i'm keen to get another fixed one.

I'm with HSBC at the moment, hoping to stay with them. LTV is 80%, current mortgage is about 73k, house was valued last time at 95k.

If you want to stay with HSBC, run the question by them. If they offer you a deal you'd like to sign up to, they'll likely let you switch early, as long as they're not likely to lose anything as a result.

OP, aren't you trying to sell your house? No point getting a new mortgage on it on a fixed rate when the early repayment charge when you move will wipe it out.
