bought some scented pens from wilko yesterday, came up at 1p, but the cashier changed the price to £1 :( spoil sport!

This is a blinking cheek. The cashier has no right to change prices to what they think you ought to pay. These items are in the sale and reduced to clear. My store had Sel's clearly marked at 1p for some sale items. I would complain if I were you ! When I had the prices checked before buying they didn't bat an eyelid about the 1p items.

I bought some stuff for 10p yesterday - including a load of party invitations (8 packs) for future use. Also picked up a couple of "best of" CDs (Depeche Mode and Talk Talk) for just £2 each...less that the price of a Starbucks coffee!
