Argan Oil

Bought some this week and it arrived yesterday. 100ml for about £10. I am going to use it on my face and hair.

Anyone have any success stories using it or have just bought into the gimmick as it seems to be what everyones talking about at this moment in time! :)

I can't believe how expensive it is in the UK. If you go to Morocco you can get 4 50ml bottles for a couple of quid (although that was a few years ago).

I have been using Argan Oil for about 2 or 3 years. I have roseaca and mix a little into my face creams. I love it.

There are different grades of Argan Oil, cooking which is refined a bit, the hair version is mixed with other oils and never pure and finally the pure organic cert refined for the face and body.

There you go :). There's others on that website so you don't have to buy this one but this one had the best/most reviews.

Billy In The Tree is the one I have. You use so little lasts forever.

Now I bought mine on ebay over a year ago.

Thanks so much for starting this thread, I was getting the stuff mixed with other oils predominantly for use on the hair, was even considering a holiday in Morroco so I could stock up on the pure stuff for a more reasonable price. Going to purchase some soon.

I bought some a little over a year ago and I love it. I straighten and dye my hair an awful lot, plus the chlorine from 3x a week swimming dries it out horribly, yet my hair still looks lovely due to this. Highly recommended.

I use the Avon version in my hair and it's fantastic. My hair is bleached and straightened within an inch of it's life and it's never looked as good since i've started using it.

I stopped using Argan Oil when I read that they collect the Argan kernels from goat faeces...Mmmm....that's nice rubbing that on my face and hair (not!).

(I'm sure they probably use machinery now, but it had already turned my stomach and put me off by the time I twigged)
