Michel Thomas Spanish Course

Can anyone tell me the difference between the original Michel Thomas 8 cd course called 'Spanish' and the new edition which seems to be split between the 'Spanish Foundation Course' and the 'Spanish Advanced Course'.

I borrowed the original SPANISH course of 8 cds from the library & have now decided to buy a copy. When I looked online I could not tell from the info which course I should buy - Is the new edition as comprehensive as the original & how many CD's does it have? Did the original edition cover Foundation and Advanced course? If it does it must be better value to buy that. Can anyone give me any advice on which one to buy please? Does anyone know of any good deal? Thanks in advance.

The 2 discs of the foundation course are the first two discs in the 8 disc Spanish Course.

The Advanced course follows on from the 8 disc course and goes into much greater depth looking into, amongst other things, how to use the different tenses in the language.

I have used the German course before and find he makes it very easy to start to learn a new language.
