Does anyone know if I am allowed to sell at FACE VALUE to the general public?

Hi, I purchased tickets for the football @ Old Trafford 29/07, and have just won 4 Judo finals tickets for the same day.
I cannot attend both events, so have decided to still attend the football.
Reading Martin's Olympic tickets Q&A, I am allowed to sell the Judo tickets to friends and family at FACE VALUE
Unfortunately I do not have any takers in my friends and family.
Does anyone know if I am allowed to sell at FACE VALUE to the general public?
If so, does nayone know the best vehicle to do this?
Cheers
Paul

No, unfortunately they are illegal to resell other than to friends and family.0

but how are the olympic people going to know if you are their friend or not? Surely if you 'friend' them on facebook that should be sufficient?:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

They say they might phone the ticket holder to check, though god knows how often that will actually happen in practice.0 -

Good idea, pretend somebody's your friend and hope that is sufficient to avoid the £20,000 fine...0 -

I'd try your local judo club-they'll probably bite your hand off and be your best friend........although as you WON them so they cost you nothing maybe you could donate them ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Sorry if I am missing something obvious but if you bought them youself then can't you resell them through the LOCOG ticket website? If you log into your account there should be an option next to the tickets to list them for resale.0

The OP didn't buy them he WON them in a competition.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Just to be cynical for a second OP...you won these tickets but want to make a profit by selling them on? Or by won do you mean you got them through an additional allocation? If you won them in a competition which you had no addition expenses in entering then I would suggest you either contact those who ran it and see if they would wish/be willing to allocate them to another entrant.
Alternatively it is possible to find out about the rules of reselling tickets and to resell through an account on the LOCOG ticket site (http://www.tickets.london2012.com/about_resale.html).
Since you won them I would suggest you either contact the administrators and see about them going to another entrant OR inquire about passing them on to a local school/college/sports club for them to use as a prize or similar.************************************
