Adams in liquidation

I have just been on the phone to order adams vouchers and have been told they are going into liquidation :eek: :eek: so use your vouchers up fast!
Can you please put this in right thread not sure which one

Adams has been sold.

they still trade under the adams name

they are no longer part of the nectar scheme but if you have nectar vouchers you redeemed you can still use them in store or send them back and nectar will credit you account..

Oh that's good, I went to our local Adams yesterday to spend the vouchers and it had closed down!
I will look into getting the points credited.

Well, after reading this yesterday and panicing! my Mom spotted an Adams open today and enquired, the assistants said they'd been taken over, and the new owner was closing stores, mainly those in shopping centres with exorbitant leases, but certainly not closing down. They had pulled out of the nectar scheme, but would accept any vouchers, you just can't earn points now in store.

I was just looking on the necar sight and wondered where Adams had gone, where will i be able to get such good kids clothes from now(free)? & What will I use my nectar points on now?
I am gutted, this is a sad day
I will miss my trips to Adams

Nectar told my friend they are not dealing with adams as they are going into liquidation!so why are adams staff saying different

Well I went to my nearest Adams yesterday(Llandudno) after finding out about this, it is still open unlike the Chester branch wich I know is closed(was like a jumble sale there at xmas)
Anyway, they took my voucher but you cant earn points at any store now. I asked if they were closing and the sttaff said "not that they knew about, but 70 branches have closed so far"
So Llandudno still open for those of you with vouchers in the area or on your hols this way soon, there was no big sale & looked like normal so hopefully this branch will stay(even if I will have to pay now!)
