Crashed my sister's car....need Help??

I had only had 2 drinks(maybe 3, pretty sure it was only 2) I am normally a v.careful driver. Even my parent and family friends always said what a good driver I was. The sole reason I crashed was because there was an annoying passenger (friend of a friend) in the front seat who kept fiddling with thr volume on the cd player. Plus the corner was longer/more bendy than I thought. The drink issue was the main reason I fled the scene. I have no idea what the number I called was; someone I was with just said call this number and report it. I didn't think twice at the time.0

Not to put too fine a point on it OP, looks like your Flucked!! If your really lucky your sister will just kill you. Should she report you (which I would if it were my Brother), expect a nasty stain on your licence and any future insurance to be just out of your reach.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

1) I was wrongfully arrested for apparently assaulting a 'ticket police officer' at a train station with my bike. This was rubbish. I was wrestled to the ground by this guy really forcefully, and even a member of the public(about 50 years old) came and said not to worry as he'd seen everything; This was all while I was on the ground with the guys knee on my head for about 20 minutes. Then I had to wait in a police car for about 2 hours outside the train station. I had not used my bike to hurt him, and I was just recovering from a broken ankle, and maybe positioned the bike over my right ankle more than my left as a defence mechanism as the guy was really big didn't trust him.
2) Another occasion arrested at my mates student appartment when it should have just been him. I returned to find someone in his block had stolen my wallet. I started looking around his room and the others in the block called the same police as they said I was causing chaos or something. I returned to station in cell for 4 hours. My mate still in the cell from 1st time said I was allowed in back to his room to get my belongings. Whilst still in the cell, I hear my mate in the cell next door saying the police have found my wallet after one of the people in my block were caught throwing it out the window when the police went round.
In the end not only did I lose around £150, but the guy didn't even get arrested.0 -
The reason that I do not believe it to be a troll, is because I am absolutely certain that there are people who do do such stupid, irresponsible and selfish things.
Which is about where I am too. I used to work with teenagers and IME, rather dim boys, mates - especially girls, the urge to drive and other peoples cars are a heady concoction that can often land the poor sod in exactly this situation.
I would not be exaggerating by saying that I used to see this situation a good half dozen times a year and some of them were far worse than this, although there was never a loss of life or serious injury amongst my lot. How, I truly do not know!
The only thing that has changed in the meantime is the now far greater seriousness of the insurance issue and that the police are far less willing to just chalk this behavior up to youthful exuberance.
I'm aware of a rather similar situation in the last year and the first offender involved got a £60 fine for the TWOC and six points/£300 fine for the no insurance.0 -
Daughter's ex BF did exactly this with his mum's car - his parents had to decide whether to prosecute or they would be done for assisting an offender (or something similar).
The police picked him up and kept him in the cells, I got a call at 3am from tearful daughter asking if I would go and collect him as his parents wouldn't have him in the house.......
He was prosecuted but got the minimum sentence - he's kept to the straight and narrow now as far as I know - this was about 9 - 10 years ago now.:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

So you take a car without permission, a car which you cannot drive because you are not insured to drive it.
You were showing off to your friends and probably driving like a complete moron, as that sounds like what you are. You also admit to driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. You then proceed to crash the stolen vehicle.
Then you come on here asking for advice ? !!!!!! ? what planet do you live on, certainly isnt this one.
Personally i'd shop you to the old bill quicker than you could sit down, folks like you are scum plain and simple, you are a danger to other road users and have no respect for anyones property.
In all honesty - I hope the full weight of the law comes crashing down on you, it is all you deserve. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
