Filling in application form-capitals or normal writing

Need to fill in my first application form in years!As it does not specify should I use capitals for my repsonses or normal handwriting writing?

    I would be inclined to write with black pen and use normal writing. Using capitals alone is considered to be shouting.

    Above all, make sure it is readable - if your handwriting is as terrible as mine, use capitals ;-)

    It depends what sections you are filling out. If its basic details like name, address, etc. capitals are best. If its long sections such as "why would you like this role" it is easier to read in normal casing (unless your handwriting is really bad of course).
    Data protection is there for you, not for companies to hide behind

    Neat cursive is acceptable for cover material.

    If you can, please type it (in normal written, not capitals). If you're writing it, see if it is possible to type and if not, make sure there's a sheet of ruled paper underneath.
