Can anyone give me a few trusted survey sites that actually pay cash or vouchers please? I am already with yougov. Am aiming to save up towards Christmas for my 6 yr old.You hear so many stories about online surveys that are not all they are cracked up to be, I thought this was the best place to ask for advice.
Thanks :j

I found this thread to be very useful for finding reliable places. If you haven't done so already, you might want to consider joining Pigsback too - you can find lots of information about it here.0

Hey,
A few that I find excellent:
1/ Valued Opinions - top bunch if you get into their surveys, paid about 60 quid in Amazon vouchers over 3 months, no problems on getting paid for surveys, nor on redemption. Redeem for a number of popular vouchers.
Minimum redemption, £5.00, and in £5 parts thereafter.
http://www.valuedopinions.co.uk/ UK ONLY
2/ Lightspeed Research - OK there's been a lot of debate about them in the past, but they have given me few problems, and when points haven't been credited, an email and a couple of weeks later and they've been credited. Redeem for a number of different vouchers.
Minimum redemption for vouchers, 550 points (£5), PayPal 115 points (£1). Other gifts available from 100 points upwards.
http://gb.lightspeedpanel.com/ - WORLDWIDE
3/ GlobalTestMarket - Good site, no problems on paying for their surveys (immediate crediting unless it says at the end of the survey, in which case count about 2 weeks from completion to crediting). Payment by cheque drawn on UK bank, takes around 3-4 weeks to arrive.
Minimum redemption 1000 points (~ £25 depending on $:£ exchange rate), but once 1000 points hit, can redeem for any amount upwards (so 1005p, 1100p, etc.).
http://www.globaltestmarket.com/ - WORLDWIDE
4/ Home Of Research - Get up to 500 points for registering and filling out profile sections (50 points each). No problems on paying for surveys, as immediate crediting to your account when you successfully fill out the survey. Redemption by UK cheque, takes around 4-5 weeks to arrive.
Minimum redemption 2000 points (£20), but once 2000 points hit, can redeem for any amount upwards (so 2005 points = £20.05, 3211 points = £32.11 etc.).
http://www.homeofresearch.com/ - UK ONLY
Those are my 4 top sites that pay out regularly and without problems. Others where it takes longer/can be problematic include,

http://www.pureprofile.com/ - Pure Profile

Hi, id def join pigsback as you can earn points fairly quickly on there (a tenner in first week, then regular points after that)-not surveys but you dont have to do too much. Ive earnt myself £40 so far, OH has earnt £20....and this is since late january!
I also use ipsos, which can be a bit slow but worth sticking with-i claim boots vouchers with them, but you can get others too.
Other ppl have sent you in the right direction, so i wont ramble on for long!

Do these surveys spam you?
Could you please tell me how much of an income on a monthly basis taking part in the surveys creates?
I am new to this and struggling to stay afloat, and can not work due to ill health but want to earn some money at home to help support my daughter.
I could work full time from home, but can not find where to start.0 -
I cant give you an amount per month you could earn, as everyone gets on differently with different websites- as you have to fit the criteria they are looking for when sending out surveys. I guess you have a good chance, if you have kids, have a bank account, credit card maybe, do the weekly food shop etc... if you are single, living alone, dont use a credit card/over drafts, dont do any shopping etc you may not get asked to do as many surveys!
Its def worth a try though, i dont get any spam from test and vote, pigsback, ipsos for example, but mutual points send me a lot of emails (a lot with offers for you to sign up for points though) wouldnt call it spam though.
If you can get online most days, and you dont mind spending a bit of time on the sites-id go for it.

I am grateful for your reply KeelyKat.
Will sign up to a few, and maybe more of the pigsback signups too.
Cheers.:beer:0 -
Hey,
I am just starting out with these surveys as well and I am making a (rather light hearted) blog of the whole experience. I've been doing it for four weeks and I still don't have cash in hand. I'm only going to put sites that pay me on my blog - but there are others who have done quite a lot of the hard work - surveystar and survey critic to name a couple. I put together a top ten tips list of what I believe to be the most important issues when starting out, one of the biggest being don't pay for this stuff ever or you'll leave yourself open to ID theft as you'll have to give credit card details. I wouldn't want to jeopardise my family's security for a few pounds on the side. There are loads of free lists of survey sites. Anyway, my tip list is here
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=4688787:
I think it's best to sign up for 10 or so of the more respected sites and see if you like doing the surveys. I didn't and signed up for 70 or so, and have received no spam whatsoever which is amazing, but I was fairly picky about who I signed up with. It's fairly obvious when the sign up process takes you away from questions like 'how old are you?' and 'what are your favourite sports?', to 'would you like a free holiday to Hawaii?'.
I've also got a couple of non-survey allegedly money paying sites that seem reasonable to me...always remember that if you register for anything through someone else's website (including mine) you're likely to be helping them get money through the referral process. Most links have embedded reference codes.
Mostly I like writing which is why I'm doing my blog. And so my Mum can keep in touch. I hope people will find it somewhat amusing...(My mum does ;-))
Good luck.0 -
This link doesnt work for me?....It's nice to be nice.....:D

Hello there,
I just thought I should warn people of a possible fraud going on with this lot.
The surveys and ptc sites do come through quite plentiful and the amount you get paid for surveys is quite good but when it comes to redeeming your payment they are not so good. This is my experience and I may just be unlucky but I thought I should warn people just in case.
I requested payment on the 23rd January and they keep fobbing me off with 'there is a problem on our system'. I have reported them to the survey police (in case you haven't heard of them they are a website that gives you rankings of different survey companies and you can also log complaints with them and they will get in contact with the relevant survey site.
On investigating Pureprofile further I found a forum where others are complaining about not being paid by them.
I hope this helps someone and sorry if you have read this post on another forum, I just want as many people to know as possible.
