hmm, i'd guess ive said that because.... it is for my girlfiend, odd that, people telling the truth!
looks like ive tapped out here, all the genuine people who are happy to help a person with a genuine query and will now only get the many "nothing of relevance to say but will still poke their nose in"

if its a non essential then maybe she could save very hard for a year or 2. That way she will be able to build up a nice lump sum, gain intrest on that saving rather than pay intrest, it will also let her see if she can really afford that amount over such a long time before getting into possible debts (note i'm not saying that will happen, no one plans for it but it does occassionaly). By saving some it will also dramatically reduce the amount needed to borrow, reduce term and therefore intrest.0
