New Mortgage App but have default accts

I know defaults are no good on an acct - i have 2 very minor ones from 3 years ago £104 and £76 - im kicking myself now for not clearing these!!! im hoping to apply for a mortgage with my partner will these defaults have a major impact on the applications?? thanks

Hi there,
They will have an impact unfortunately, whilst they say in criteria under £x they consider them this is subject to credit score which they impact upon heavily.
How much impact they have on your application will depend upon what loan to value you are looking for, partners credit score, current banking history and behaviour.
Depending on the above and appropriate lender selection I think you will be fine...
