    Hello all,

Sorry I've yet again not been around recently - work has been a nightmare, I've been spending every spare moment revising for my exams and I've let my spending get out of control.....

On the plus side, I found out yesterday that I have passed level 2 AAT....the final exam result should show on the aat website within a week then I can relax until September !!!

    I've missed you all :o

    Today I have/will.....
    • Breakfast and dinner from stores
    • Had to buy a loaf of bread but bought own brand
    • Bought a return bus fare into town - cheaper than 2 singles (would have walked but had bags etc)
    • Went to a friends flat to see the Olympic torch as it toured our town (there was a great atmosphere)
    • Bakes scones and thinks hob nobs to give to my friend
    • Need to list old textbooks on a resale site
    • Need an early night
    • Need to make breakfast, lunch and snacks for tomorrow

    Think that's about it

    Love to you all

Ziggy: If you like going to the cinema, do you have a vue cinema near you? as they do a cheap tuesday card. I went to see chernobyl diaries with my mother and we only paid £3.65 each (each cinema charges different cheap prices so your nearest may charge a little more) we also got given 2x £1.50 off voucher if we return in a fortnight and can use these in conjunction with the cheap day card.

Thanks Bagpuss, I will definitely look into that, we were going to go on orange wednesday so would have only had to buy my ticket but would have had to pay an upgrade for Lo to watch a £D film and then there was tram fares so we could have ended up spending about £20 for a cheap night out - ridiculous

  • Hello

My little DFW things today have been:

*Went to £ shop for adhesive dressings that I needed instead of paying a fortune in Boots

*Made a delicious, quick and cheap tea for me and OH - pasta, chicken, chopped toms, tom puree, frozen peppers and onions, garlic, herbs and cayenne pepper for a bit of a kick :)

*Went to the corner shop for two "four pinter" milks (on offer - two for £2).When I got home, I realised both had 15th July use-by date and that me and OH will never get through that much milk in four days, so took one back and asked to swap it for one with 19th July one, so this will last us a week :D
