This might interest you guys with cars. (I'm not going to post this in the motoring section, as no doubt someone would come along to argue some stupid point.)

This week I booked an oil change online with National Tyres & Autocare. For 6 litres of 5W30, a new filter, a bottle of engine flush, and labour it was £50.16.

They did it today & it took them about an hour. Put your car reg no. in here for a quote and branch location: https://www.national.co.uk/oil-change

    :) Morning all.

By heck, it's a good job I've got nothing worse than a cuppa on the go because if I was eating breakfast, all this slug talk would be putting me off it, for sure.

For those who may need to know, you can apparently eat slugs, in extremis, by swallowing them whole. I'm sure I read that somewhere, something serious badasses like commandos do.

Like most people, I suspect I would have to be in a very desperate pass before I'd contemplate that. Ick.

Been busy with life and gardening (which is just like life, except more important :p). This time of year, many of the annual weeds are flowering and starting to set seed, so it's important to eliminate as many of them as possible. The old saying is; one year's seeding, seven years weeding.

From personal experience, I'd call that a conservative estimate.:rotfl:

Look on the bright side, GQ - if disaster strikes and shops run out of food, you could make a fortune with your very own commercial slug farm.....better leave it there as even I am starting to feel ill.....

Bit of food colouring, lots of sugar, nobody would know....
(Definitely an argument there for healthy eating)
