Well spotted. I'm in the middle of applying. IMHO it's still a good deal especially without tie ins but it's less appealing than it was yesterday…
EDIT: Not sure if I should thank you for that one or not – I don’t suppose you were personally responsible for the increase though0 -
Well, not me personally!! I'm in the middle of applying as well and everything seems to have gone quiet for the last two weeks - just waiting for the completion date now I think, which I hope will be at the end of March, when my current deal with the Coventry ends. Have to say that I've been impressed with the service so far...and I knew that the rate had to rise at some point. Will there be another I wonder?:rolleyes:0

Hi Jeannine
I was a bit gutted to see this rise I must admit. Although it was on the cards, I was hoping they might keep it at 5.15 to get the customers through the door. I am just in the middle of moving over to them. They have just rec'd my redemption statement - how long did it take from then for you to get the official mortgage offer? Just wondering how long it will take really. I have also been very impressed with their service so far too....0 -
Hi there,
I was sent the mortgage offer on 6th March and the redemption figure was received on 7th March - so the other way round. I returned the signed mortgage deed immediately, but since then all has gone quiet (possibly because I don't want to complete before 1st April).
Even with the rate rise ING are still very competitive I think...and remember - no tie ins etc.:easter_ba0
