I'm afraid that a recruiter could look at voluntary work as "a gap". If someone cannot find any paid work, then a regular, medium-term, voluntary position is useful on a CV. It is unlikely to be viewed in the same way that paid work is.0 -
The other problem may be that your job seekers agreement could lead to "successful" employment in a job you REALLY don't want to do.0

Just wondering what the ethical thing is to do, I want to quit working and look for a full time job whilst claiming housing benefit.
It is unethical to quit work (however much you hate your job) to have others support you, whilst you search for something else.
You are an adult, deal with it.The opposite of what you know...is also true0
