Lidl returns policy

I purchased a DVD player from Lidl in January this year which has become faulty. Whats Lidls policy regards returning the player for a refund, I have the original box, I need to dig out the receipt but if I can't find that the transaction will be on one of my bank statements

Lidl and Aldi have both got very tight on their returns policy, partly due to liberty taking customers taking the p**s and abusing their goodwill thus spoiling it for the us genuine customers.
