Actually, the OP said he is in Scotland, so exchange is done pretty much as soon as the offer is accepted. Exchange and completion can't be done on the same day.Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

Good spot - did not notice Scotland as was already typing about the exchange and no mortgage offer...I am a Mortgage Broker
