Laurel & Hardy - The Collection (21-disc Box Set) £84.97 delivered

amazon.co.uk are doing the Laurel and Hardy 21 disc box set for £84.97 inc delivery, reduced from £199.99 (supposedly), but £84.97 is still very cheap and the cheapest i have found it.

I waited and waited while the price on this box set dropped from £200 (retail) to £175 to £150 to £120... and then finally got it from Amazon after Christmas for £85.

Best £85 I've spent in a long time - L&H crack me up. Laughing Gravy is one of the best but they're all so good.

    Thanks Amazon!

Have to admit i'm a big L&H fan myself to the point of almost being a Son Of The Desert...lol. Big fans will know what I mean.

Sounds a great buy. I'm very tempted. Their films are still funny and timeless.

I like the one where they're both sitting in a bar and the pay phone rings and Stanley answers it and simply says "it sure is" and then hangs up, he sits back down and Ollie says "what was that about?" Stan replies "it was someone saying it's a long distance from Chicago."

    Priceless!

PS...If you sign-up to Amazon's DVD rental service like I have then you get another 10% off DVD purchases which then makes it £76.47 all in. Their DVD rental thing is very good and great value and you cancel at any time.
