Anybody buy their dress on first visit?

Hi guys,
I've just got back from buying my dress. Problem is it was first shop I went into and although tried on 10 dresses it was first one I tried on. Does anybody think I'm mad? I loved the dress but now coming back think maybe I should have looked around.
Please somebody tell me I'm not crazy.

Yes, just a few months ago, I went with my daughter, she tried THE dress on, fabulous, but still tried on more but the Wow factor wasnt there, so yes, first shop, first dress, and its in the middle of being made now for the wedding in October:j:jmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Thanks everyone. I was so nervous going dress shopping as was worried about people being rude etc but she was so lovely and i had the whole shop to myself.
I just thought maybe I should've looked around but have a feeling I would have come back to that one anyway. It's so beautiful and when I came out of there had such a big smile.
Glad to know I'm not the only one.0 -
If your mad I must need a straight jacket lol. I bought my dress having never seen it in real life or tried it on. I saw it in eBay with a dodgy pic, won it but when it arrived it was perfect

For my first wedding many years ago I went shopping with my mum, and fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I tried on one other in that shop and then went to 2 other shops that day but my heart wasn't in it as I just knew the first one was right.
Last year I didn't ever try on a dress. I just made an appointment with Linda (No 9 Bridal Couture), she did a sketch for me and that was it.
You don't have to try on loads. If you have something you love then go for it

I didn't even visit bridal shops.
I found mine online at Monsoon. Loved it as soon as I saw it but kept looking around, but a week later that Monsoon dress wasn't going out of my mind.
Panic set in though as when I decided to order it, it was in the sale. I ordered two sizes to make sure I didn't miss out on the opportunity to have it.
I was over the moon with it, tried it on and just loved it. Couldn't see any reason as to keep looking for my dress, finding my dress was no where near as stressful as other things for my wedding, it was bliss

My wife got hers in the first place she went to. I said she should keep "looking" anyway, to get some more free champers, but she wasn't keen
