Relative applying for a job where I work

(Speculative question at this stage)
My Dad is currently job hunting. I work for a medium/large international organisation with about 500 staff. There are a couple of people due to retire in the next few months and if the vacant role is not filled internally, and goes to external applications, I think my Dad would be suitable and would encourage him to apply.
At what point, if any, would he need to declare his relationship to me?
One of the potential roles is nothing to do with me directly in day-to-day terms, although if successful he would be my line manager's manager. Another potential role, while he would not be my manager, we would be part of the same extended team and I would carry out some work for him.
I have no issue at the prospect of working for my Dad, and I doubt that he would with me. I have actually worked for him briefly in the past.

It is possibly a question on his application form.
If not, he really should mention it at interviewmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
When I did this with my mother about 10 years ago she just spoke to her line manager when the applications opened and she knew I'd applied.
"Boss, my daughter applied for the X role, we have no issues with working with each other personally but thought you should know in case the company would consider it a problem."
I didn't need to mention it as it was acknowledged that they were aware in the interview but I would have mentioned it myself then if it hadn't been covered already.0
