Work programme - those with degrees/ proffession

This is a question to those who have been put on the work programme, and also have a degree, or a qualification at at least L4. Also/and they have sound job experiance and are able to get interviews, but not the job.
Question: Has the work program been able to help you in anyway? if so, how?
The whole program seems to be targeted at those who are under 24 with little or no employment experiance, which is fine for those people, but not take into account those who have had employment, but lost it due to ill health / redundancy/ career break to raise family and are struggling to get back into employment.
I would be interested to see if anyone has actualy had any advice or guidance suitable to their needs or if (like me) they have been completly ignored. Thank you!

I fit into your criteria, and I can say they have been worse than useless for me. I've gotten more salient advice from my cat than I have from the work programme.
