Hi
I've got a couple of genuine (bought from Lloyds Pharmacy) 20mg Cialis tablets that i've had for ages. Was looking at the pack & noticed that they expired in April.
However, they are still in the blister pack & have always been kept in a cupboard away from heat & light. Would they still be ok to use? or could they be dangerous or just lesss effective. If i can still use them how much longer have i got.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

You shouldn't really take out of date medicines but it's a tablet i.e not a liquid so I would take it. But it is a risk you have to weigh up whether it's worth it or not. It can be dangerous but more than likely it'll just be less effective...but don't even consider taking more to compensate it'll just be a little less effective.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I have heard of out-of-date medications/tablets being donated to and used by some people in third world countries (?) I don't think there's anything in the tablets that's perishable, so they shouldn't harm you.
I would guess that after the use-by date they are simply no longer guaranteed to be as effective. Maybe one of the pharmacists on here will be along soon who can better advise.0 -

I don't know. Try measuring it before and after!;)
How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Rang up a couple of local pharmacies & they both said that their ok to take for ages after the expiry date if they have been stored properly. They aren't dangerous & the worst thing that could happen is that they might be slightly less effective.
So when i take one i'll tell you all what develops (ooh er missus).0
