Apart from the RAM the OPS tablet is no different from that £55 NATPC on Amazon.

That £100 alternative is a high resolution big(ger) IPS tablet. Also look at the 'what oter customers viewed' list for an even cheaper IPS one.

I've been agonising on whether to buy a tablet or not. Must admit that the new google tablet looks very tasty, I was just reading about it on this nexus 7 blog (might be of interest).

I keep going round in circles, sometimes I think, just get the cheapest. To be honest it's only going to be a bit of a "toy" and not something I "need". What's the MSE thing to do?

But then I think, hmm well it needs a good screen, and I want access to the Google Play store (the cheap ones don't), and I want it to be thin and light with good battery life.

Paying a little more is worth it. But then why not pay even more and get a all singing all dancing machine, and before I know it I'm looking at £400 ipads!

Hmm, I think the Nexus will be a nice compromise... :)
  • the mse thing to do is get someone to buy it for you :-)
