Options
Hi, I have signed up to this site but to be quite honest I have no idea how I collect/redeme money. I am looking to renew my car and home insurance and see that some of these give cash back via the site. How do thy know I got there details from GreasyPalm and am therefore intitiled to the cash back?
Sorry to be so dim, please be gentle with me...I'm feeling fragile!:o :o

Firstly, you'll get double the cashback rates at www.quidco.com (less a one-off annual admin fee of £5 which is deducted from your earnings.)

All cashback sites use cookies to track the transaction and check that you have gone through their site. They are then paid commission from the company which they pass on to you. :)

THIS ARTICLE should help to explain how cashback sites work. :) Just scroll down to the second half for the relevant info.

Simply this you visit the site and login. You click via a merchant site say Tescos. That link contains information on where you come from say Greasypalm stored in a cookie. Greasypalm signed merchants via a 3rd party like Tradedoubler who have the information in that cookie, who then pay Greasypalm who then pay you, it can take svereal months though to get the money

    What is a cookie?

A cookie is a packet of information sent by a server to a browser such as internet explorer, or Firefox and then sent back by the browser each time it accesses that server. Cookie are used for the purposes of tracking, and maintaining information such as site preferences and shopping carts.

I find Topcashback just as good as Quidco you also pay a annual fee but it was free when I joined. Had to many issues with bad tracking on Quidco for my liking
