please justify your RUBBISH comment !
your comment is utter carbage the libor rate scandel and the THE TEST CASE fees are enough to rate them all as rip offs

Libor rate scandal would have lowered mortgage repayment if anything.

Nobody is forced to pay fees they do not agree to.

useless non constructive comment so far
financail institutions have been found guilty for overcharging customers who have been charged fees on either credit cards or other credit services , you say you do not have to agree with them , they are included in the t&Cs , they have been found to be profiting from the fees resulting in ripping people off by charging more than the actual financail loss to them selves, that was the THE TEST CASE , which singled out personal bank account mainly because the banks would go bankrupt if found guilty on personal accounts with common law , my opinion certain banks should of been left to go under,
for a late payment credit card finacail services were charging £50 for a non service basicly just a 5 min work time , an envelope and stamp generated electronicly prob costing no more than £10

Only costs if you break the T and Cs.
Never paid much in the way of charges myself.

all financail institutions serving the public are classed as rip offs , either fixing rates or fees

Mmmm after reading your post, then your name and I work for a lender after a very very hard days work, I now love you. Cretin. This forum is for secured home loan lending and nothing else. Credit cards are for another forum.

Fees, charges all the way. I'd do the same if it was my money.

There's nothing to stop you shopping around, it would be better if you started another thread by the way.

That does look expensive, do you have money saved for fees and expenses on top of the Deposit as this will be a few thousand all in.

Why do you want it over 20 years, 25 is more normal, and you can normally overpay up to 10% if you want to bring the mortgage term down.

Just to add more confusion maybe the benefits of an Offset mortgage need to be looked. I am sure everyone recognises that our financial needs and objectives change over time and this might be one way to benefit from overpayment whilst also retaining access to an emergency fund and the ability to use the funds again should they be required.
