There was no need to appeal in the end because she sent out her CV, got 3 interviews and got offered all 3!!
Confession - she had to lie and tell the new employer that she was getting paid 5 grand more than what she was really getting paid. In the end, the new company bettered the compensation package and offered her a salary that is 7 grand more than what she is currently on! lol. Im not sure which lie is worse because she also had to make up the fact she had a science degree and 7 A* GCSEs. Its all good though because they didnt check her out.
Contract signed.
More money, better job, better Ofsted rating, better benefits.
Booooooooooooooooooooooooom :money:

And does the contract include a condition that lies in an application will result in dismissal?
What happens when they check? If they have not checked yet, it doesn't mean they never will. Will she always be looking over her shoulder to see who might have worked out she lied?0 -
I am still trying to figure out whether you are a troll or just very stupid. She lied in a job application about having a science degree and 7 GCSE's and you don't realise that this means that if the employer ever finds out, then she can be dismissed. That's ever, not just the first couple of years. Fraudulently claiming qualifications you don't have is actually a criminal offence - and people have been jalied for it.
There is nothing to be proud in the fact that you and your wife are happy to admit to fraud. Un-be-lieve-able...0 -
Silly fool for lying. In my line of work we have to provide evidence of our qualifications and we get asked to see them every few years or so. She will get caught out you know and will find herself in a heap of trouble.0

Ah come on guys .....the OP is obviously a frustrated ficton writer.
lets face facts if the OP's wife did claim to have a degree then the employers are going to expect her to have the knowledge that comes with that degree.....and bells are going to start ringing when she makes elementary mistakes.
Of course that assumes that the OP is actually married which given his ability for story telling I doubt very much!2014 Target;

Agreed the story is unbelievable but at least we should warn others, if not the OP, that this is not something one can expect to get away with for long.0 -
When this poster started posting (under his other pseudonym) some time ago, he wasn't married.
He only posts to rile up others. If he wanted to just update, he would have said that 'his wife' got a job. He very clearly and deliberately posted so he could get a reaction to the 'lies'.
Last time it was him getting a 'huge' payrise after a grievance. One employer after another.
Don't feed the troll.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Troll or not, others reading this thread need to be aware that claiming to have a science degree or 5 A* GCSEs is "obtaining financial benefit by deception". Most employers would like to see documentary proof of qualifications!0

Thank you. I stupidly took him at face value a couple of months ago and referred him to SarEl. The fact he never went there told me a lot.
I seriously disbelieve a word he says. But if any of it is true, I actually hope it catches up with him/ his wife. Someone else who deserved the job got cheated out of it. Any way you look at it, he's a liar and a fraud. And so is his wife.0 -

We know he is a liar and a fraud from past posts. And he has no wife!
Just a computer.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

I bow to your superior knowledge. I didn't have the history, and I got taken in. No wonder he didn't go posting to SarEl when I told him to. She probably would have known. And she tends to give short shrift to trolls. I feel a bit of an idiot for initially believing him. But in my defence, I got over it.0
