    Hi all,

I'll be posting the comps from the Prima September issue later, but I wanted to give you all advance notice of the changes happening to the comps in Prima's October issue (the one currently in the shops).
They have now included an entry form in the mag, instead of separate postcard entries for 10 competitions (the £100 crossword, £100 wordsearch, £100 codeword, £500 Arrow-word, as well as the 6 prize giveaways they have each month). All can still be entered by telephone and the prize giveaways can also be entered by text, but I just wanted to give everyone notice about the entry form in case you want to buy the mag. It costs £2.99. :D

This week's item: I saw this cast-iron bathtub, described by the auctioneers as "country house style" in a corner of a salesroom. Did the bidders blow hot or cold over it?

    A - £50
    B - £350
    C - £650

**Can't be certain of the final price, but it was estimated at £200-£400 here.

I'm sorry to say but I think this is a scam. I entered a few days ago & today have had a letter stating thanks for entering etc with a wordsearch puzzle on the back.

Wording says something along the lines of double your £17,000 to £34,000 by completing this wordsearch & calling the competition phoneline (£1.53 per minute for 6 minutes 15 seconds, maximum of £9.60 ) In subsequent stages of the competition participants will be offered the chance to increase the amount even more.

To remain in the competition but not increase the prize amount participants need to return their answers to the subsequent competition stages by post.

It goes on to say the next stage will be offered a further £3,000, then £2,000 & then a further £1,000 making £23,000 on top of the original £17,000.

I am sure most of us would love to win this amount but I really don't think it's going to happen.

It looks like them Reader's Digest type things where you need to keep entering for various cash prizes etc to be entered into the next stage.

    Opinions please?

YES i got the same, straight in the bin and i've also had two phones calls offering me the 3 for £1 for various magazines.
