OK - here's an example: I've just put this in the main board because there's a free e-mail route. But for those who might want to do multiple postcard entries in different names....

are people not more likely to use a few different emails to go with the different details than spend the money on stamps etc?

plus if the postal details are added in the thread on main then the people who want them can still find them easily.

comps that can be entered online stay on main even when postal or text or phone details are added there. they only get merged here if there is no option for online entry.

especially in cases were it is one entry per person anyone who enters by email from main but doesn't cross check with this thread or cross check the post in here with the one on main duplicates their entry. or maybe that really is only me :rotfl:

tbh i would prefer simply a link to a thread on main and no details in here if its also posted there, then i dont have to read every word of every post to prevent me form duping or having to throw away postcards but obviously there are others who would want the details here and not just a link....no one is right and no one is wrong to want it either way :)

thus i would please beg (because people like me have trashy memory) if you are going to post them in two place please add links to the main thread on here so that we don't accidentally dupe, and a link to this thread saying its also posted in here main post. my previous post ruffled a few feathers, which was not my intention with asking. so sorry.

(and just out of interest how many people, really, choose to spend a minimum of 50p ish now for a second class stamp multiple times for a few extra entries when they can get the same entries for 0p by email? i know for some prizes people will enter a second (3rd/4th) time by post (phone/text) if its allowed, but when its not?)

As stated on first post which has always been there, if a comp has an email entry it goes on the main board, if people do post it on postals as well then please link to the post so people dont dupe.

Agree with pcl on this, sorry didnt see your previous post :D
