How to get a tax rebate?

In a bit of a pickle, we moved just after i left my old job and my p45 got sent to my old home so i dont have that and the company doesn't exist now so i cant contact them, is there any way i can go about getting my rebate as im not working now? i tried calling hm revenue but after 3 25 minute calls with no answer i gave up so any ideas are appreciated! thanks

I tried that, i asked the landlord to send it on and even sent an envelope for them but they didnt do anything, cant pick it up, 300 miles away

Are you still working? Give in a P46 if you are, that should sort it in the end.Signature removed for peace of mind0

No longer working, havent got any work lined up, but im definitely owed at least £400 so its a lot of money to lose.0

Have you signed on at Jobseekers? If so then you will not be able to claim tax rebate while signed on.0

Nightmare getting through to HM revenue, best to try when they open on a saturday morning at 8.00 AM. Tried recently 3 times calling after 6.00 PM put in a queue and gave up waiting:mad:0
